US KIDS LEVEL 1 ETIQUETTE

1.  Is it ever acceptable to miscount your score?

2.  Is it okay to talk while another player is playing a stroke?

US KIDS LEVEL 1 Rules
 

1.  When you're starting to play a hole can you tee your ball in front of the tee markers?

2.  If you're trying to hit the ball and miss, does it count as a stroke?

3.  Do you have to add a stroke to your score if you accidently knock your ball off its tee?

4.  If you lose count of your strokes on a hole is it okay to guess?

5.  Once your ball is very close to the hole is it okay to pick it up without actually finishing it to save time?

6.  If your ball lands in a bad spot, like long grass, or a patch of dirt, should you try to hit it anyway?

7.  When you're waiting for your turn to hit, can you practice chipping if it doesn't bother the other players?

1.  If you have the highest score on a hole, do you have the "honor" to hit first on the next tee?

3.  Is it ever okay to put you foot in another player's line on the putting green?

US KIDS LEVEL 2 Rules




1.  When playing in a tournament, are you responsible for checking your scorecard for accuracy, hole by hole, and signing the correct scorecard?

3.  If you accidentally cause your ball to move once it's in play, is there a penalty?

5.  Are practice swings allowed as long as it doesn't delay play, interfere with another player's concentration, or cause damage to the course?

7.  Should you always rake a sand bunker to smooth out your footprints and divot made by the club?

3.  Can you take a free drop away from a hole made by a burrowing animal, reptile, or bird?

4.  Can you declare your ball unplayable anywhere on the course except in a hazard?

5.  Is it true that you can play with 18 clubs, one for each hole on the course?

6.  Do you have to play your ball as it lies if it's on top of an obstruction like a sprinkler head?
          __Yes        __No

7.  When taking a drop, should you stand erect, hold the ball at shoulder height with your arm fully extended, and then drop it?

8.  Are the rules the same in the two forms of competition, stroke and match play?

9.  If lightning is near, is it okay to discontinue play?
