Reese Fernandez

 

Reese is a 2005 graduate of Red Bluff High School in Red Bluff, CA where he was a member of the boys’ golf team, and frequently traveled to tournaments as a solid contributor. As a college player, Reese spent 1 year at Shasta Community College in Redding, CA as part of the men’s golf team.

 

After moving to Las Vegas Reese joined the staff of the Summerlin Junior Golf Academy. Currently, he is primarily responsible for Tiger Paws instruction, sessions with Introductory, Advanced and Players groups, Adult Small groups, and private lessons with juniors and adults. Reese has the ability to enable students to have fun while learning solid fundamentals. He truly enjoys working with students to help them reach their goals, and as a result they enjoy working with him.

 

Reese has aspirations to pursue Class A certification within the PGA of America and continue progressing as a teaching professional. To begin this process Reese has taken and passed the Player's Ability Test with the PGA. He has enrolled and started his apprenticeship. His long term goals include working with players of all ages to teach them strong fundamentals, correct knowledge of the golf swing, and on course strategies to help them reach their true potentials.
