At the Big Sky Championshipin April 2008 Chloe Nelson shot a 227 (77-76-74) to tie for fifth, becoming just the eighth Eastern Washington University Eagle to ever attain a top-five showing at the Championship. Her finish earned her a spot on the All-Tournament team. She also finished the year with the lowest average round in school history (76.56).
